(1) The watershed protection officer shall adopt the land use system to cultivate any crops or fruits and trees on the land classified as required to be done in accordance with clauses (c), (d), (e) and (f) of section 4 of the Act among the lands within the protected watershed area. If there is a need to plant or weed or do any other work, the area and boundaries of such land should also be determined and the information should be given to the department. (2) According to sub-rule (1), if the land designated to be cultivated by adopting the land-use system is privately owned, the land owner or the owner of such land shall cultivate the land by adopting the land-use system.
